AUDIO VISUAL
Meeting spaces that help people do their best work
The modern workplace depends on great meeting experiences. Whether people are in the office, working remotely or joining from another location, technology should help them collaborate, not get in the way.
Generation-e's Audio Visual Practice designs, delivers and supports workplace technology that makes meetings simpler, more engaging and more productive. We create consistent user experiences across meeting rooms, boardrooms, training spaces, town halls, command centres and content creation studios, helping organisations get more value from their technology investments. Our practice specialises in Microsoft Teams Rooms and integrated workplace solutions built on leading technologies from Microsoft, Cisco, Logitech, Neat, Q-SYS, Biamp, Shure, Sennheiser, Crestron and Yealink.
More than a traditional AV integrator
Most organisations no longer view audio visual systems as standalone room technology. Meeting rooms, networks, security, cloud platforms and workplace services are now deeply connected.
Generation-e takes a different approach. Our Audio Visual Practice is part of a broader Workplace Technology capability that combines Audio Visual, Networking and Smart Buildings with deep expertise in Microsoft technologies, security and managed services. This means customers receive solutions that are designed to operate reliably, securely and at scale, rather than a collection of disconnected products.

The problems we solve
Hybrid meetings live or die on the room. When AV is unreliable, calls that won’t start, cameras that don’t track, screens that won’t share, people lose confidence and drift back to their laptops. Most organisations run a patchwork of rooms, brands and standards stitched together by different integrators, with no single owner when something breaks. The result: inconsistent experiences, stranded investment and support tickets that never really close.
How we help
We design, deploy and support certified Microsoft Teams Rooms and collaboration spaces as one accountable partner, so the room simply works and the technology gets out of the way. We standardise your room types, specify certified hardware from Logitech, Yealink, Neat and Crestron, and deliver consistent, easy-to-use spaces from huddle to boardroom against Microsoft’s room standards. As one of only seven partners globally with Elite Microsoft Teams Rooms Pro support, and with thousands of Teams Rooms delivered across A/NZ, we own the outcome end to end: design, build, adoption and ongoing support. Because meetings that start on time are where a better workplace experience begins.
Outcomes you can expect
- Consistent, one-touch join experiences across every room type, so meetings start on time.
- A standardised room catalogue (huddle, medium, boardroom, training) that scales predictably as you grow.
- Certified hardware matched to each space, so you never over- or under-specify a room.
- Higher room utilisation and adoption, with fewer AV support tickets.
- One accountable partner for design, deployment, adoption and 24×7 support.
Solution sets
- Microsoft Teams Rooms: native, certified Teams Rooms on Windows and Android with one-touch join, content sharing and intelligent cameras, delivered by an Elite Teams Rooms Pro partner (one of only seven globally).
- Room standards & design: a reusable set of room types and design standards, with AV drawings, signal flow and acoustics, so every space is repeatable and easy to support.
- Certified room hardware: specification and supply of certified devices from Logitech, Yealink, Neat and Crestron, matched to each room’s size, use and budget rather than tied to one brand.
- Huddle to boardroom: spaces scaled from two-person huddle rooms and focus booths through to divisible boardrooms, town-hall and training spaces with multi-camera and voice-lift options.
- Digital signage: workplace messaging, wayfinding and room booking panels powered by AppSpace, integrated with your Microsoft environment.
- Managed AV: proactive, ITIL-aligned managed AV through M-Serv, with remote monitoring, analytics, incident management and on-site coverage across A/NZ.
- Select Rooms: a subscription model that bundles certified room hardware, deployment and managed support into a predictable per-room cost.
- Adoption & change: Microsoft-specialised adoption and change management so people actually use the rooms.
QA Lab
Before any solution is deployed into a customer environment, it can be tested, validated and configured in Generation-e’s dedicated Quality Assurance (QA) Labs in Melbourne and Auckland. These purpose-built facility allows our engineers to replicate real-world environments, integrate technologies from multiple vendors and identify potential issues before implementation.
From Microsoft Teams Rooms and contact centre platforms through to network infrastructure, audio visual systems and workplace technologies, the QA Labs provide a controlled environment for end-to-end testing. By validating solutions before deployment, we reduce risk, improve implementation quality and help customers achieve faster, more predictable outcomes.
The QA Lab also enables us to scale large and complex rollouts consistently. Standardised configurations, repeatable testing processes and pre-staged equipment help ensure every deployment meets the same high standards, whether delivering a single site or a national rollout across multiple locations.
Frequently asked questions
Do you only deliver Microsoft Teams Rooms, or other platforms too? Our core strength is certified Microsoft Teams Rooms, we’re one of only seven partners globally with Elite Teams Rooms Pro support. We also work across Cisco Webex, Google and Zoom so we can advise on dual or interoperable room strategies.
Which room hardware do you use? Certified devices from Logitech, Yealink, Neat and Crestron, matched to each room type. Being vendor-certified rather than tied to a single brand means we recommend the right device for the space, not the one we have to sell.
Can you support rooms you didn’t install? Yes. Through M-Serv we take on estates built by other integrators, standardise them over time, and provide monitoring, analytics and on-site support across A/NZ.
How do you keep rooms working after go-live? Managed AV provides proactive remote monitoring, incident management and on-site attendance, aligned to ITIL, delivered on ServiceNow, with tiers from Foundation to Premier.
What is Select Rooms? A subscription that bundles certified room hardware, deployment and managed support into a predictable per-room cost, so you scale meeting spaces without large upfront capital.
Can you help drive adoption, not just install technology? Yes. We hold Microsoft’s Adoption and Change Management specialisation and build enablement into every rollout so your people are confident from day one.
